Detailed Itinerary

Explore our comprehensive day-by-day itinerary to discover the highlights and activities planned for each day of your trek.

Day 1 Pokhara to Kokar

Trekking begins early in the morning from the hotel. After traveling for one hour from Pokhara to reach Kade, you may start your hike through Australian Camp (2100m) to get fantastic views of the Pokhara valley and the Annapurna range. You’ll hike to the Deurali from here. You will depart from the busy Annapurna Sanctuary path tracks at Deurali and proceed in the direction of Kokar. This part of the trail, which winds through the stunning, tropical jungle, is more tranquil. In the spring, you can enjoy the beautiful and vibrant blossoms in the region. Beautiful and vibrant rhododendron blossoms as well as other sub-alpine flora are visible. The hike is 18 km in total and takes 7–8 hours. Spending the night at Forest Camp, we will prepare ourselves for the next day.

Day 2 Trek to High Camp

Your adventure starts after a restful night at Forest Camp. You hike through the lovely woodland once more. In these regions, you could get a glimpse of the Himalayan Thar, mask deer, spotted deer, barking deer, and snow leopard. The terrain begins to shift as soon as the ascent starts. The trees are covered in ferns, lichen, and moss. The route emerges above the forest line from Low Camp after an hour of hiking. Your initial, clear views of the majestic peaks such as Annapurna South and Hiunchuli will arise. The path keeps going up the slope in the direction of Mardi Himal. You enter the alpine zone and exit the forest line at Badal danda. The majority of your walking will be on grasslands. You will arrive at High Camp (3780m) from this point. It takes around 6 to 7 hours to complete the 13 mile hike.

Day 3 Mardi Base Camp to Middle Camp

On the third day, you will walk to the 4500-meter-high Mardi Himal Base Camp early in the morning. After that, you'll go on walking over the ridge to arrive at the beautiful Mardi Himal Base Camp. It will be a tough day for beginner trekkers. The path is rough, stony, and steep. Nevertheless, your drive and enthusiasm to get to Mardi Himal Base Camp are strong given the breathtaking scenery all around you. The stunning and majestic Mardi Himal and Mt. Machhapuchhre, Hiuchuli, are seen from Mardi Himal Base Camp. Other tall mountain peaks like Gangapurna, Annapurna I, and II will also be seen. We return to Middle Camp (3200m) for the night after our expedition to Mardi Base Camp.

Day 4 Middle Camp to Sidding to Pokhara

Relish the last mountain view while enjoying breakfast in the morning. Then, you should hike for four to five hours via low camp to Sidding village (1700 meters) or a little farther to Kalimati. After that, you can take a two to three-hour jeep ride to Pokhara.
