Ghandruk is situated in the Kaski District of the Gandaki Zone in north-central Nepal. It is approximately 32 kilometers away from the city of Pokhara, one of the main tourist hubs in Nepal. The village has breath-taking broad views of some of the most famous Himalayan peaks, such as Himchuli, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). The village's natural appeal is enhanced by the terraced fields, traditional Gurung homes, and the verdant surroundings. The Gurung group, who are well-known for their distinctive rituals, traditional way of life, and rich cultural legacy, make up the majority of the population in Ghandruk.
