Ghandruk is a beautiful village located in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is a popular trekking destination and is known for its stunning views of the Himalayas, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality of the local Gurung community. Ghandruk is situated in the Kaski District of the Gandaki Zone in north-central Nepal. It is approximately 32 kilometers away from the city of Pokhara, one of the main tourist hubs in Nepal. The village has breath-taking broad views of some of the most famous Himalayan peaks, such as Himchuli, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). The village's natural appeal is enhanced by the terraced fields, traditional Gurung homes, and the verdant surroundings. The Gurung group, who are well-known for their distinctive rituals, traditional way of life, and rich cultural legacy, make up the majority of the population in Ghandruk. The village's Gurung Museum offers information about the history, customs, and way of life of the Gurung people.

The best time to visit Ghandruk is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is generally favorable, and the skies are clear, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
